Gabrielle Desroches (they/them) is an award-winning nonbinary Cinematographer,  AC,  Photographer, and Camera Operator based in the LA area. With a knack for queer storytelling,  they create bold, colorful, and romantic images that leave impressions that audiences remember.
They primarily work as a Director of Photography and within the camera department. They have been trained in cinematography at the New York Film Academy under industry veterans such as Anthony B. Richmond ASC, BSC (BSC Lifetime Achievement Award Winner 2024), Christopher Rossiter, CSI, ICG, and cinematographer of countless iconic 2000s pop music videos, Pascal Lebègue, AFC. Gabrielle has also worked closely as a mentee on set under Shane Hurlbut, ASC.
Gabrielle's experience with numerous narrative feature films, short films, and music videos as a DP paired with their drive to visually connect audiences to the universal human condition has taken them far quickly. The visuals they create have  caught industry attention early in their career and have proven time and time again to have resonated amongst their peers.
On set, Gabrielle can also be found working as a First Assistant Camera and Camera Operator. Finding emotional beats and being so involved the camera's language has become their favorite part of pulling focus, along with Cam Op work.
Gabrielle strives for the upmost quality in everything they do, and they work hard to ensure that the vision becomes a reality.
