Gabrielle Desroches (they/them) is an award-winning nonbinary Cinematographer and Assistant Camera based in the LA area. Gabrielle has a particularly deep love for queer stories, horror, and projects that encourage use of color and engaging camera movement. 
They primarily work as a Director of Photography and within the camera department. They have been trained in cinematography at the New York Film Academy under industry veterans such as Anthony B. Richmond ASC, BSC (BSC Lifetime Achievement Award Winner 2024), Christopher Rossiter, CSI, ICG, and  Pascal Lebègue, AFC. Gabrielle has been working closely as a mentee on union sets under Shane Hurlbut, ASC, AMPAS and First Assistant Camera Derek Edwards. 
Gabrielle's first music video that they shot in their career, Born to Be Bad  for independent queer artist Blake Corpse, has garnered several awards including an award of recognition at IndieFEST Film Awards, and was nominated for Best New Media & Experimental films in NFMLA's Best of NFMLA Awards. They have since shot various narrative shorts, and shot a narrative feature available for purchase on Amazon Prime: Blow for Blow. ​​​​​​​
